What our summaries are made of, what we deliberately never keep, and how to have your data removed.
Each figure is a summary of public sold listings — cards that actually changed hands, grouped by condition. The median is the middle price of those sales, and it is always shown with the number of sales behind it, so you can see how much evidence there is rather than taking the number on trust.
Every release covers a fixed window of time, and that window is printed at the foot of this page.
When there are too few qualifying sales, we show the reason instead of a price. A thin sample can produce a confident-looking number that is simply wrong, and we would rather tell you we do not know.
We do not keep, and never display, any of the following:
This is not only a policy. Our release files are checked before they are served: a release carrying any of those fields, or a marketplace link in any of its text, is refused and the page does not render. There is nothing to delete because there is nothing kept.
If you are a seller and you want your data removed, there is nothing of yours in our summaries to remove — we hold no seller data at all. If you believe otherwise, write to us and we will check and tell you what we found.
If you are a member and want your account data deleted, that is on our privacy page.
Early access: our price summaries are still being evaluated. Pricing accuracy has not yet been proven.
We are testing our method against real outcomes. Until that work is finished we will not claim our summaries are accurate, and you should treat them as research rather than as a valuation.
